Michael A. Sachs

Born and raised in Connecticut, Michael became a Canadian in the 90's and in addition to a couple of stints in Los Angeles California has lived in Vancouver, Canada since. He is a passionate Jewish Community professional focused on bringing people together to tackle antisemitism and the delegitimization of Israel.

Mike passionately advocates for Israel's right to exist, explaining its diverse history and complexities, and talks about the Israel situation in an understandable manner so people from all religions and backgrounds can come together for conversation and understanding.

Diagnosed as an adult with level 1 Autism he is passionate about making a difference in the manner in which autistic individuals are treated and helping bridge the gap between the neurodivergent and the neurotypical.

Mike has advocated in schools, local governments, at parliament, in newspaper articles and elsewhere to support equality and funding for those on the ASD spectrum.

After being expelled from High School, and being told he would never amount to anything or that he would never graduate, Mike's life could have gone in a different direction. Yet his education, professional experiences as well as his choices brought Michael to the exact opposite place.
